Are you interested in learning to drive for free? Here’s your chance! Applications are now open for Free Car Driving Training under the Scheduled Castes Sub-Plan (SCSP) and Tribes Sub-Plan (TSP) in Karnataka. The Backward Classes and Minorities Social Welfare Department (BMSA) is offering this training program to support Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates.
Who Can Apply?
Eligible SC and ST candidates can apply for this free driving training. Below are the details of qualifications and documents required:
1. Light Vehicle Driving Training (Car/Jeep)
- Age: 18 to 45 years
2. Heavy Vehicle Driving Training
- Age: 20 to 45 years
- Must hold a Light Vehicle Driving License for at least one year at the time of application.
Required Documents for Free Car Driving Training
To apply, you will need the following documents:
- Aadhaar Card
- Caste Certificate
- 5 Passport-Size Photographs
Selected candidates for the residential training will be provided with free accommodation and meals during the training period.
