Karnataka Minority Welfare Incentive Scheme 2025:
Minority students of Karnataka State studying in prestigious national-level institutions like IIT, IIM, NIT, AIIMS, IISER, IIIT, NLU, INI, and IUSLA can now apply for the Incentive/Fee Reimbursement Scheme 2025-26 offered by the Directorate of Minorities, Government of Karnataka.

Eligible Courses and Institutions
The scheme applies to students enrolled in full-time courses at:
- IITs (Indian Institutes of Technology)
- IIMs (Indian Institutes of Management)
- NITs (National Institutes of Technology)
- IIITs, IISER, AIIMS
- National Law Universities (NLUs)
- Institutes of National Importance (INI)
- IUSLA and other reputed government-approved institutions
Who Can Apply?
To be eligible for this one-time incentive/fee support:
- Residency: Must be a resident of Karnataka State.
- Community: Belong to a Minority community such as:
- Muslim
- Christian
- Jain
- Buddhist
- Sikh
- Parsi
- Academic Performance:
- Enrolled in a full-time course.
- Must have passed all subjects in the previous year (no backlogs).
- Family Income:
- The annual income of the family should not exceed Rs. 8.00 Lakhs.
- Bank Requirements:
- Must have a bank account linked with Aadhaar and NPCI mapping should be active.
What Does the Scheme Offer?
- One-time incentive or full fee reimbursement for the entire duration of the course.
- Support provided only once during the course.
- Benefit transferred directly to the student’s Aadhaar-linked bank account.
