Karnataka CHO Recruitment 2022: Details of Vacancies
Designation: Community Health Officers (CHO)
Place of Duty: Candidates selected for the post are Bidar, Bellary, Kalaburgi, Chamarajanagar, Chikmagalur, Vijayapura, Bagalkot, Koppal, Uttara Kannada, Chitradurga, Haveri, Kolar, Belgaum, Tumkur, Mysore, Gadag, Mandya, Udupa, Chikkabare, Chickabore, Duties should be performed in Bangalore, Rural, Bangalore and Dharwad Districts.
Number of Vacancies: A total of 680 vacancies have been invited for filling application.
Eligibility: Must have registered with BSc Nursing / Post BSc Nursing from a recognized University and State Nursing Council KNC / INC. Must have proficiency in Kannada and English.
Salary: Rs. 22,000 to Rs. 24,200 will be paid. In addition, performance-based incentives of Rs. Up to 8,000 will be awarded.
Age Limit: Maximum 40 years for SC, ST, Category 1 candidates, Maximum 38 years for Category 2A, 2B, 3A, and 3B candidates, and 35 years for general candidates within the notification date.
Selection Procedure: Candidates will be selected for the post by conducting an online examination.
Method of application for the post of Community Health Officers:
- Eligible and interested candidates who wish to apply for these vacancies should submit their applications online.
- Candidates should visit the official website of the department, fill in all the required information in the online application (for example candidate’s name, qualification, email address, etc.), and submit the application form with the prescribed application fee
Details of the application fee:
• SC, ST, Former Army Candidates Rs. 300
• The remaining candidates are paid Rs. 600
Payment Method: Candidates can pay online through Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking.
Other Information: Candidates should have lived in Karnataka for at least 10 years and should have practiced Kannada as a language in SSLC / 10th standard.
