CM in his speech said that online scholarship distribution will be implemented in Karnataka for students from families of construction workers. Karnataka Construction Workers Children Scholarship 2022 Program is implemented by the Karnataka State Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board.

Karnataka Construction Workers Children Scholarship is an initiative of the Government of Karnataka to encourage students toward education. Many students leave their education due to a lack of funds. Many children of construction workers are unable to get quality education due to an of funds. With this scheme, the government wants to solve their problem by giving them financial assistance.

Eligibility criteria details
- The student must be a child of a registered construction worker
- The candidates must be a permanent residents of Karnataka State
- Only two children of the family will get help
- Labors should not have any dues payable to the Board
- Applicants must be currently studying in a recognized institute in Karnataka
- Distance learning courses, home study courses, and online courses are not eligible

- To apply for the scholarship students must visit the official website of the State Scholarship Portal

- From the home page of the portal you need to click here to create a new account link
- A new page will open where you have to select whether you have an Aadhaar or not.
- Create a new account on SSP Scholarship Portal
- If you select Yes, then you have to enter details of Aadhar type like Aadhar Number, Your Name, Gender
- If you do not choose you will need to enter your ID number
- Enter the security code and check the checkbox after reading the declaration
- Select the option to continue and the application form will open
- Complete and submit the application form
- Log in with the portal and select the Karnataka Construction Workers Children Scholarship link
- Press the apply option and the form will open on the screen
- Fill out the requested information & upload the required documents
