Yes, Karnataka state government has decided to distribute free laptops to students studying in first PUC and second PUC course, as per this request.
Karnataka Free Laptop Scheme 2023
Karnataka State Labor Department has invited application for free laptop from the eligible students studying in the first PUC and second PUC classes in the year 2023-24 to distribute free laptops to the children of construction workers who are registered with the State Building and Other Labor Welfare Board.
In order to avail this facility, one must register with the Building and Other Labor Welfare Board by March 31, 2023. Children of such construction workers are eligible to apply.

How to Apply Karnataka Free Laptop Scheme 2023
The application form can be obtained from the office of Senior Labor Inspector, Labor Inspector or Taluka Labor Inspector along with necessary documents before 26th September.
