Eligibility Criteria for NSP Labour Scholarship 2025
To be eligible for the Labour Ministry NSP Scholarship, you must:
- Be a ward of Beedi/Cine/LSDM/Mine workers.
- Be studying in Class 1 to Postgraduate/Professional level.
- Have a Personal Aadhaar-linked Savings Bank Account in a scheduled/nationalized/co-operative/private bank.
- Complete the One Time Registration (OTR) process on the NSP.
- Aadhaar number is mandatory for APB system disbursement.

How to Apply for NSP Labour Scholarship 2025
Follow the steps below to apply online:
- Visit the official National Scholarship Portal: scholarships.gov.in.
- Click on “New Registration” and complete the OTR process.
- Log in with your credentials under the “Student Login” section.
- Fill in the scholarship form and upload required documents:
- Aadhaar Card
- Bank Passbook
- Student ID
- Income Certificate
- Labour Identity Card of parent/guardian
- Submit the application and download a copy for future reference.

If not registered, register on shp.karnataka.gov website click “scholarships.gov.in” with your email/mobile number/gmail account.

Click on the ‘Start Application’ button to start the application process.
Fill in the required details in the online application form.
Upload the relevant documents.
Accept the ‘Terms and Conditions’ and click on ‘Preview’.
If all the details filled by the applicant are showing correctly on the preview screen, click on the ‘Submit’ button to complete the application process.
