The deadline for applications is July 20 or earlier. The KARTET 2021 exam will be held on Sunday 22 August for Paper-I (for teaching grades 1 through 5) and Paper-II (for teaching grades 6 through 8).

Centralized Admission Cell(CAC), Karnataka conducts KAR-TET or Karnataka teacher eligibility test. This exam is a state level exams conducted to determine the eligibility of the candidates willing to take up teaching faculty as profession.

KARTET 2021 exam will be held on August month 22, 2021.

KAR TET 2021: selection criteria
Before a candidate can apply for a teaching position, they must know the selection criteria provided by us. In addition to languages, the questionnaire will be in English, Kannada, Urdu, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Marathi. Teachers are recruited to teach at Primary Level I (grades 1 through 5) and upper secondary level teachers (grades 6 through 8) in various schools under the Karnataka State Government.

KAR TET Paper 1 Exam Scheme 2021
The Karnataka TET Paper 1 Exam Sample will be designed for candidates who intend to be teachers in grades I-V.
It consists of topics on child development, basic mathematics and the environment. Language 1 being Kannada and language 2 being English are also covered.
The total number of questions for each topic is 30 with the same marks, which is a total of 150. The total time allotted for the exam is 150 minutes, that is, 2 hours 30 minutes.
The questions remain relevant for the NCERT / State program for grades I – VIII

The Paper 2 Exam Plan for TET in Karnataka is for candidates who intend to work as teachers in grades VI-VIII.

The total number of questions on each topic is 30, with the same marks, which is 150 in total.
The questions remain relevant for the age group 11-14 years old.
